Student Ambassadors
Each year, under the advisement of the Admissions Office,
student ambassadors will be selected. The mission of student ambassadors
is to effectively promote Northeast Kansas Technical College by generating
awareness about technical education and related technical careers, as
well as assist in the recruitment and retention of NEKTC students. Each
ambassador selected is awarded a $200.00 scholarship for each semester
of service. Student ambassadors work a minimum of 40 hours per semester
in various activities such as working in the Admissions Office, attending
career fairs and events, and giving campus tours.
