Each individual program of study has a council of representatives that provides a linkage between the College and the region served by the College. The councils are composed of persons in business and industry who are interested in Northeast Kansas Technical College. Council members monitor and approve the curriculum, recommend equipment and assist programs in staying current. Therefore, NEKTC programs stay updated to the changes in industry, the demands of employers, and what the future holds for its graduates.
