Ability to Benefit Policy
A student can attend Northeast Kansas Technical College (NEKTC) without a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) by meeting the following guidelines:
1. Take the ACT WorkKeys assessment and meet the minimum reading and math scores for the occupation.
2. A conference must be held with the Director of
Admissions/Counselor and the President to discuss:
· test results;
· student’s ability to benefit from the program;
· and admission as a student at NEKTC.
